SCLEROTHERAPY
Sclerotherapy is a procedure most often used in our office to treat spider veins. A medicine (usually a salt solution) is injected into the vessels, which then makes them shrink. Larger veins or lymphatic channels are injected by other specialists using ultrasound guidance.
